Saudi fast-food favourite Albaik has opened a branch in the northern emirate of Ajman, with promises of “many more outlets to come” across the UAE.
The restaurant is the third of its kind in the country, with one operating in The Dubai Mall and another in Mall of the Emirates, plus a temporary outpost at Expo 2020.
Albaik, which first launched in 1974, is best known for its bargain fried chicken – a firm favourite of the Saudi community and those who grew up in the Gulf. The brand has more than 120 outlets in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the UAE.
In particularly great news for fans of the restaurant, a spokesperson for Albaik said the branch in Ajman is the beginning of a major expansion across the UAE.
He said: “Albaik Ajman is the first location in the northern emirates after two successful openings in Dubai. This is part of a big pipeline expansion in the UAE market with many more outlets to come.
“We are very happy to serve the customers of Ajman as well as the Northern part of the UAE.”

Fans will remember the huge queues the first time the restaurant opened in the UAE, so if you’re looking to get your hands on a delicious fried feast then head down as quickly as you can.
