Natural dessert brand House of Pops has officially opened its first branch in Bahrain after taking the UAE and Saudi Arabia by storm with its plant-based frozen treats.
The store can be found in Manama’s City Centre mall in partnership with local franchisee Almoayed Investment.
The Middle East firm, which started in Dubai in 2019 places sustainability at its heart, with its products – inspired by Mexican paletas – containing no refined sugar, artificial colours or flavours.
Company CEO Mazen Kanaan said: “We have selected Bahrain as expansion in the GCC is our first goal as we begin to expand internationally.
“Bahrain has a lot of opportunity and also shows strong trends towards health and wellness, where the ice cream industry is still lacking.
“As we find solid partners, we will continue to expand in the rest of the region and beyond.”
The company’s pops and bars come in a wide variety of flavours including Galactic Lime and mango strawberry – plus a selection dipped in chocolate.
