There are few hotel lobbies in Dubai more elegant than that of ME Dubai – and now an immersive exhibition featuring the work of renowned illustrator Alena Lavdovskaya is set to take over the stunning space.
Until June 10, the hotel’s corridors will come alive with art from two decades of Lavdovskaya’s career – spanning fashion, advertising, and editorial – under the property’s Artist in Residence program.
The pieces are highlighted against the contemporary curves and design elements of ME Dubai, by Zaha Hadid, exuding an elegance that is reminiscent of the runways of Milan and Paris.
Famed for her glamorous illustrations and intricate sketches, Lavdovskaya has previously worked with prestigious fashion houses such as Christian Dior and renowned magazines including Vogue and Elle.
In addition to the exhibition, Lavdovskaya will be hosting a series of fashion illustration workshops and exclusive lectures, offering an insight into her artistic process.
