Aman Beverly Hills unveils opulent urban oasis amid acres of lush botanical gardens

Aman Beverly Hills

The ultra-luxury brand Aman has revealed the designs for its upcoming hotel in Beverly Hills, an oasis set among acres of lush botanical gardens teeming with native Californian flora and fauna.

The city property marks the fifth urban destination in Aman’s portfolio, which has traditionally focused on exclusive and far-flung destinations including frescoed Venetian palazzos, Sri Lankan military forts and secluded Balinese jungle hideaways.

The all-suite resort – which is set to open in 2027 near the city’s iconic tree-lined Rodeo Drive – will be at the intersection of Wilshire and Santa Monica boulevards and features private pathways winding through magnificent green spaces.

The hotel’s contemporary aesthetic is set to make use of a neutral colour palette that reflects the nature in the surrounding hills and the wider state of California. Natural materials including stone and wood will provide warmth to vast spaces with expansive views across the city.

Aman Beverly Hills will also feature a limited number of private homes in two residential towers, and will be home to a dedicated 100,000 square foot wellness space – the first of its kind in the world for the brand.

Vlad Doronin, Chairman and CEO of Aman Group, said: “This project builds further on the successful opening of Aman New York in 2022, aligned with our strategic direction to bring the brand’s coveted experience to the world’s finest cities.

“Aman Beverly Hills captures the essence of the Aman lifestyle with its minimalist aesthetic which references Asian design with a European expression and will be our fifth urban destination following Aman Nai Lert Bangkok and Aman Miami Beach.

“We are excited to be working with partners who understand our vision and mission to curate hotel and residences of incredible architectural distinction in the world’s most exceptional locations.”

Aman is known among elite travel circles for its discreet service, exclusive locations, and understated ambience, with celebrity fans ranging from Justin Bieber to Ivanka Trump among guests regularly checking in.

The brand’s expansion includes several hotels in Saudi Arabia, with the upcoming Amansamar at Wadi Safar sprawling over two million square metres just outside of Riyadh and four other properties across the Kingdom in the pipeline.
