Dubai’s Burj Khalifa is set for a Thursday night Super Mario Bros. takeover to celebrate the release of the Nintendo franchise’s latest movie later this month.
The world’s tallest tower will be covered in vibrant 3D visuals of cartoon Mario, his sidekick Luigi and other characters such as Princess Peach, Toad and Yoshi on Thursday April 13 in advance of the film hitting screens across the city one week later on Thursday April 20.

But when the brothers are separated, Mario embarks on an epic quest to find Luigi.
The movie features an all-star cast, including Jack Black, Seth Rogen , Fred Armisen, Kevin Michael Richardson, Sebastian Maniscalco and more.
There’s also a special voice appearance by Charles Martinet, who has voiced the characters of Mario and Luigi in the Super Mario games for more than 30 years.
So if you’re a major Mario fan, make sure to head down to the Burj Khalifa on Thursday April 13, then catch the movie in cinemas across the city one week later when it opens on Thursday April 20.
