Dubai’s KRASOTA restaurant is to transform Valentine’s Day into an art-infused celebration, featuring bespoke fragrances from the esteemed French atelier Liquides Imaginaires and a groundbreaking performance inspired by artificial intelligence.
In the “immersive gastro-theatre,” guests find themselves seated at an expansive ring-shaped table that doubles as a canvas for vivid projections. The swish culinary stage is dramatically framed by sweeping drapes, creating an ambiance that blurs the lines between dining and performance.
The Art of Love show celebrates the works of eight artists from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, with each painting paired with a course from a menu including inventive dishes like peach sashimi with pickled blackcurrant buds and baked potato with sea urchin and black caviar.
During the evening, staff will share details of the dishes and works featured, as well as stories of the women who left an indelible mark on the artists’ creative processes in a special Valentine’s Day twist.
The restaurant advises paying close attention to servers’ advice on eating, since some of the kitchen’s creative recipes “may benefit from resting” – while others are best savoured immediately.
After dinner, guests will be ushered to the terrace with breathtaking views of the iconic Burj Khalifa for the launch of Âme du Cœur, a new perfume by French fragrance house Liquides Imaginaires.
A special game will see diners paired with a custom scent based on their personality and relationships, with each given complimentary Liquides Imaginaires miniature products in a velvet pouch as a gift to take home.
Visitors will also have the chance to win a heart-shaped artwork from the Czech Republic’s Moser Glassworks.
Tickets cost AED2,500 per person, with dinners running at 2pm, 6pm and 9pm on Valentine’s Day (Wednesday February 14 2023).
