NH Collection Dubai The Palm has launched vegan-friendly rooms, featuring a range of plant-based amenities.
The hotel now offers duvets, pillow fillings and mattress toppers made from sustainable materials.
Guests will find vegan snacks in the room, in addition to shampoos and conditioners that have not been tested on animals and are free from animal-derived ingredients.
In a bid to further boost sustainability, the property’s bathroom products are also free from sulphates, parabens, silicon and gluten.
Manish Jha, general manager at NH Collection Dubai The Palm. said: “We are thrilled to introduce our vegan-friendly rooms to provide guests with a sustainable and compassionate accommodation options.
“Being the very first hotel in Dubai with vegan-friendly rooms, we hope to create awareness about the positive impact of vegan and sustainable choices without compromising on comfort and luxury.”
Other sustainability initiatives at the hotel include an in-house water bottling plant, solar panels to generate hot water and the repurposing of the moisture from air conditioning units for irrigation purposes.
All of the hotel’s shower caps and sanitary bags provided to guests are fully compostable, while pens and pencils in rooms are recyclable.
